Johann died February 26, 1975 at 84 years of age. His body was interred Allen Twp Cem, C-6/7.

He married twice. He married Klara Wilhelmina (Clara) Lau November 30, 1920. (Klara Wilhelmina (Clara) Lau is #756.) Klara was born March 7, 1895. Klara was the daughter of Ferdinand D Lau and Johanna Wilhelmina Caroline (Hanna) Engel. Klara died March 28, 1949 at 54 years of age. Her body was interred Allen Twp Cemetery, C-6/7. He married an unknown person after 1949.
