She married Gerhard Heinrich Plohr October 23, 1856. (Gerhard Heinrich Plohr is #1886.) Gerhard was born July 12, 1812. Gerhard was the son of Johann Friederich Plohr and Dorothea Möllmann.

Maria was confirmed at 13 years of age May 3, 1829. She resided 1829. At 23 years of age Maria became the mother of Carl Heinrich Gerding December 18, 1838.
