... the way it was

After 2-1/2 years of preparation, the reunion seemed to come and go in a flash ...
but it left a flood of memories that will be cherished for a long time.

What You Said About the Reunion

bullet

Julie Harris:   I thoroughly enjoyed the reunion and wish I had come earlier.  I agree with Lillian that the next reunion should be more casual ... I think everyone would enjoy themselves in more relaxed surroundings.  And where are the Nelson photos, Sharon?  12/12/07

bullet

Jan Etter Lambert:  Roy, thank you.  From someone who was not there - the committee did an excellent joy of contacting classmates and the web site is great.  I appreciate all your work. I even recognized a few from the photos.  12/12/07

Lillian McAfee Eaker:  Paseo '57 reunion:  The whole 50th reunion was great ... Location was perfect for me as I hadn't seen downtown KC for a long time....Time of the year was perfect...even the much needed rain was good....Banquet was delicious and just right for $50...Nametags, decorations, check-in at banquet, table settings, and the T-shirts were fabulous!!! Entertainment was nice and just right...
I so enjoyed the whole thing!!!!  Especially enjoyed just talking to others at Lunch on Sat. and Brunch on Sunday... The hospitality room was wonderful on Friday and Saturday..Another thanks to all who made these possible.  Those who missed it really don't realize how much fun we had........  One suggestion: We MUST have another in 5 years or so.......we could have it in a park  or a more casual place  in  the city or suburbs.....Although I live on the other side of Missouri...I would be glad to help from afar...
Thanks again for everything, Roy and Committee..

bullet

Sande Stratton Spicer:  I thoroughly enjoyed everything and am looking forward to the next one.  I will make sure we attend ALL the events as the one Saturday dinner was not enough time to visit!  Thanks again!  I love the website!

bullet

Glenn Owings:  Donna & I just took the cooks' tour of all the 50th reunion photos.  Thanks to all who shot the pictures and sent them in to Roy, the Web-Master.   And thank you again for putting them altogether and posting them on your web-site.  It was fun seeing all your pretty faces.  I thought the Hospitality night and the Banquet night both came off in an excellent manner.  Donna & I had a great time, and enjoyed seeing everyone who could attend.

bullet

Elaine Schlozman Chapnick:  I finally have a moment to write and say thank you to you and to your committee for the splendid job you did in organizing our class reunion and motivating such a large turn-out.  It was a great week-end.

bullet

Lillian McAfee Eaker:  It was a GREAT reunion .... the committee did exceptional work....but what should we have expected?? from the  best class Paseo ever graduated???????   It was so much fun....after all, we "Remember who we are".....thanks again to all..........

bullet

Dean Moss:  Just wanted to say THANKS for all your work and the results which I  have seen from here, not being able to attend.  I received my Tee Shirt today.  The pictures from the dinner on the Paseo 57 site are really special to me.

bullet

Mary Shillerston Peterson:  It was a great reunion.  I am still excited about it thinking about all the people I saw and the ones I didn't see and all the conversations.  I hope we can do it again soon.

PLEASE TELL US YOUR PREFERENCES?

Your enjoyment of the reunion was the primary goal of the planning committee.  Your thoughts about what went well and what could be improved would be of great help to anyone who might be involved in preparations for another reunion ... if there is another reunion (some classmates told me that they thought the 50th would be our last).

We do not have an "evaluation form", but would appreciate your comments and suggestions on any part of the reunion, including

bullet

Location (Crown Center area)

bullet

Hotel (suitability, service, cost)

bullet

Hospitality suite

bullet

Banquet (setting, menu, program)

bullet

bullet

Frequency (how long should we wait between reunions?)

bullet
