I am very sorry that I have to inform you that unfortunately I will not be able to attend the Paseo 57 Reunion.

When you phoned me a few days before I was in Beijing, China. I will have to go to Lausanne, Switzerland, in September and to New Delhi, India, in November.

I am so late with my answer because I somehow thought that I nevertheless might be able to manage to see all of you, but now I got a mandate to join a client on his trip to Azerbaijan sometime in the second or the third week of October for negotiations on an important contract. And I beg you to understand that this must have first priority.

I am sure you all will have a great time. Please give my regards to all the classmates.

I will always be thankful for the wonderful year I could spend in "the heart of the nation"!

Es tut mir sehr Leid daß du nich kommen kannst, aber ich verstehe wie es geht. Wenn Alles ruhiger ist, vieleicht kannst du und Lilo Urlaub nehmen und Kansas City besuchen. Dann könnten wir eine kleinere Fest mit so viel wie möglich Klassenkameraden machen. Das wäre schön ... wir könnten viel Spaß machen.
