From Charlotte, NC

Take the Billy Graham Parkway from the airport to I85N.
Up I85 to the cutoff to 321. 321 past Blowing Rock to Boone.
Turn left at Wendys onto 105. 105 to the second flashing light, across a small bridge and right onto Broadstone Road toward Valle Crucis.
Watch the winding road. Past a horse farm on the right and past the Mast Store Annex and the Mast store on the right.
1 mile past the Mast Store, you will see Mast Gap Road on the left and the entrance to Valle Cay is on the right.
Turn right into Valle Cay.
Over a small bridge, up to the gate (code 659*).
Follow the road up to an intersection at a flower bed.
Turn left and follow the road up to a sign that says Man of War. Turn left onto a gravel road and bear left to the cul de sac.
Turn right up the driveway at the cannon and you are there.
