HOW CAN I HELP YOU?

If you are responsible for information technology planning, management, or operation, then you probably don't have enough time to keep up with the flood of new technologies and their impact on your business.

I have been in your position and understand the problem. After being frustrated by hazy and confusing explanations provided by my technical supporters, I decided to take time out and study the nuts and bolts of the new products and how they affect business. Now I am developing and teaching one-week short courses in those techniques to students from industry, government, and academia. Those students include all levels from corporate vice-presidents to programmers and support people.

For a few clients each year, I can determine the specifics of your situation and
- place them in perspective with the new technologies
- explain new products and jargon in plain English
- provide key questions to ask technical people
- tell you when "experts" are sending a smoke-screen
- identify where limited resources can best be used
- advise which technologies are dependable enough to use
- provide guidance to programmers in Visual Basic, VBA, Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and more

You can take advantage of my assistance in
- strategic planning for information technology support
- management and organizational planning issues
- allocation and budgeting of information resources
- migrating legacy systems to a client/server environment
- issues in the selection of hardware, software and network components.

EXPERIENCE
