As we were leaving the Fabulous Fisk Farm after a Fantastic
Fourth and Family Fling in July 2001 we "adopted" some Black-Eyed Suzies
from the side of the gravel road between the farm entrance and the paved
road.
These photos show some of those flowers in their new home in our
Woodbridge, VA, garden, as well as a shot of daisies transplanted from the roadside in front
of our house.
In the left-hand photo, look carefully at the top of the petal
at the three o'clock position. There is a small fly sitting there!
